Цели урока; развитие лексико-грамматических навыков (фразовый глагол to take); активизация навыков устной речи по теме «Лондон»; тренировка аудитивных и лексических навыков.

Оборудование: картинки по теме «Лондон».

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

- Good morning, boys and girls! (Good morning. Марая. Петровна!)

- I am glad to see you. (We are glad to see you too.)

- How are you? (We are fine, thanks. And how are you?)

- I'm fine, thank you.

- Who is absent today? (All pupils are present.)

- And who is on duty today? (Oleg is on duty today.)

- OK. Let's start our work.

II. Фонетическая зарядка
Один ученик читает стишок, и спрашивает следующего: What did he say?

Тот должен повторить бесконечное стихотворение и спросить следующего

My name is Yon Yonson,

I work in Wisconsin,

I work in a lumbermill there.

The people I meet when I walk down the street,

They say, "What's your name?

And I say

"My name is Yon Yonson,

I work in Wisconsin

And so on to infinity.
Listen to me and repeat after me.
Three little monkeys jumping on the bed,

One fell off and bumped his bed.

Mama called the doctor and the doctor said:

«No more little monkeys jumping on that bed».

III. Речевая разминка

Cinquain Poetry

A Cinquain poem focuses on one idea. It has five lines and follows a pattern.

Line 1: One word as the title {Noun),

Line 2: Three words describe the title {Adjectives).

Line 3: Two words express action.

Line 4: Four words express a feeling.

Line 5: One word (another word for the title) {Noun).

These arc example of Cinquain Poetry:


striped, mean, fast

running, chasing

he loves to hunt



winged, feathered, swift

nesting, singing

flying free and happy



Write Cinquain to Tower of London, than we shall listen, math them and select the best.

IV. Тренировка навыков аудирования

- You can see the pictures of some places in London on the blackboard.

Can you name them? Listen to my stories and choose the picture.

1. It is very old. It has a long and cruel history. You can see it from the river Thames. It is not just one building. Many years ago the Kings and the Queens of Britain lived in this place. (The Tower of London.)

2. Jt stands near the Houses of Parliament It is really я bell It weighs 13, 720 kilograms. It has a deep tone and you can hear it on the radio. It is a famous clock, (Big Ben.)

3. It is not far from the Houses of Parliament. It is a symbol of England. It was founded by St. Peter and built by King Edward in 1065. Some famous people are buried there. (Westminster Abbey.)

4. They stand beside the river Thames. You can also see them from Westminster Abbey. The country's leaders speak at this place. The famous clock Big Ben stands near them. (The Houses of Parliament.)

Учитель предлагает учащимся прослушать рассказы и угадать различные достопримечательности Лондона.

Затем учащиеся выполняют упр. 18. с. 66.

V. Активизации навыков устной речи по теме «Лондон»

. - I want you to look at the map of London. Find the places you know and name them. What other places can you find on the map? Учащиеся выполняют упр. 21, с. 67. Учитель побуждает детей называть знакомые и новые для них достопримечательности Лондона. Затем ученики выражают свое согласие или несогласие с утверждениями учителя. - I want you to look at the map and agree or disagree with my statements

Утверждения учителя:

- St. Paul's Cathedral is a big church. (I agree with you. St. Paul's Cathedral is a big church.)

- Big Ben is far from the Houses of Parliament. (I disagree with you. Big Ben is not far from the Houses of Parliament.)

- Westminster Bridge is the famous bridge across the river Thames. (I agree with you. Westminster Bridge is the famous bridge across the river Thames.)

- The Tate Gallery is in Oxford Street. (I disagree with you. The Tate Gallery is not in Oxford Street.)

- The Tower of London is near Westminster Abbey. (I disagree with you. The Tower of London is far from Westminster Abbey.)

- Tower Bridge is next to the Tower of London. (I agree with you. Tower Bridge is next to the Tower of London.)

~ Buckingham Palace stands near the river Thames. (I disagree with you. Buckingham Palace doesn't stand near the river Thames.)

VII. Совершенствование навыков чтения по теме «Лондон»

— Will you read the task of exercise 22, page 67? Let's put the sentences about Buckingham Palace and Tower Bridge in the correct order. You'll have three minutes to do the task.

Учитель предлагает учащимся поставить в логическом порядке предложения из упр. 22, с. 67. Ученики выполняют задание в течение 3 минут самостоятельно, а затем зачитывают рассказы вслух.

VIII. Введение фразового глагола to take

Today we shall learn some word combinations with the phrasal verb «to take». Look at the table «Word Focus» on page 66.

- Let's read the phrasal verb and the examples.

Ученики по очереди читают словосочетания и предложения с фразовым глаголом из таблицы на с. 66, упр. 19. Учитель организует выполнение упр. 20, с. 66. Учащиеся должны не только вставить предлоги, но и перевести предложения.

IX. Итог урока

- That brings us to the end.

Ученики повторяют слова стихотворения за учителем и показывают соответствующие движения.

Don't run across the road,

Stop and look.

Don't write on the wall,

Write in your book.

Don't run in school,

Always walk.

Listen to the teacher,

Please, don't talk.

Домашнее задание: упр. 7, с. 73, рабочая тетрадь упр. 25, с. 35.
