 Тема: Keeping Fit. Здоровый образ жизни.


Цель:Развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции в совокупности ее составляющих речевой, языковой, социокультурной, компенсаторной, учебно-познавательной.

Задачи:1) Практиковать учащихся в использовании лексики по теме “Why People Do Sport”, «Keeping fit” в серии речевых упражнений.

2) Практиковать учащихся в умении высказываться в соответствии с предложенной ситуацией c использованием предложенной информации в виде опорных выражений, изученных ранее.

- рассказать о том, для чего люди занимаются спортом;

- рассказать о спортивной жизни школы;

- рассказать об известных спортивных командах РТ.

3) Развивать умение вести диалог-расспрос, отвечать на вопросы анкеты.

4) презентация малой проектной работы о необходимости вести здоровый образ жизни:

(презентация рекламы: подготовить и показать драматизацию – представить работу рекламной компании, активизация изученного лексико-грамматического материала, умений обменяться с партнером по вопросу о необходимости поддерживать спортивную форму; подготовка яркого и запоминающегося выступления, развитие у учащихся умений выступать перед публикой)

5) Формирование целостного представления о понятии «здоровый образ жизни» и личностного отношения к нему, воспитание любви интереса к спорту, к занятиям физической культуры, ЗОЖ – как основных компонентов воспитания здоровой, коммуникативно активной личности, развитие умений представлять свою страну, республику, её достижения в условиях иноязычного межкультурного общения.

Тип урока: урок коммуникативно-ориентированного обучения.

Методы: интерактивный, словесный, наглядный, практический.

Оборудование и оснащение урока: Компьютерная презентация «Keeping Fit”, сделанная в пргорамме «Power Point”, раздаточный материал с опорными выражениями для подготовки выступления по темам «Going in for sport”, “Sport in our School”, “Sport in Tatarstan”; тест «В хорошей ли вы в спортивной форме»; раздаточный материал для домашнего задания – стихотворение «Stay Healthy», наглядные пособия для презентаций проектных работ – реклам. Материал: сайты команд «Ак барс», «Рубин», «Уникс», «Динамо Таттрансгаз».

Ход урока:

T: The bell has gone. My pupils imagine you are at Sport lesson, stand up, make a straight line from the tallest to the shortest and greet me.

T: Good morning, everybody!

P-s: Good morning, our dear English teacher!

T: I’m very glad to see you!

P-s: I’m very glad to see you too!

T: Thanks a lot. Hand up! Hands down! Hands on the hips, boys, please sit down. Stand up and smile one another. It’s so funny! Don’t laugh at me. I’ m very serious, what is more you mustn’t only start this English lesson sporty but every new day. If you just do your morning exercises, you know how you work. They help you to wake up, be ready to your classes, and set you into a cheerful working mood.

Tell the truth, who does his morning exercises… Oh, I respect you, you are a great example for us. (compliments)

T: Sit down, thanks for helping me in unusual starting of the lesson.

Keeping fit we should start with the warming up. Don’t forget about warming up when exercising. Rushing into any activity without first warming up is asking for trouble. We have done morning exercise, now exercises for our mind.

T: My dear pupils, you have to tell me how do people keep fit? Try to say in one word.

P-s: SPORT!

We have already talked about “Going in for sport”, “Sport in our school”, “Sport in Tatarstan”. Now I want to test your knowing some expressions and you have to talk us about “Going in for sport”, “Sport in our school”, “Sport in Tatarstan” using these expressions. Two groups have already told at last lesson, and today the 3rd group has to tell in detail about Sport in our Republic. The rest groups have to tell 5-6 lessons.

I hope that our co-operation will be important and useful for you and for me.

So, sport helps us to stay in good shape, to build character. It teaches us to win and to lose.

In my opinion every person should go in for sports because it helps people to be strong and healthy.

«You have a sound mind in a sound body» as the old Latin said.

Some people do sport regularly, some of them don’t. But every person should do some exercises in the morning. It puts them into the good mood for the whole day. They go jogging in the park in the morning or in the evening.

Some people do sports at home to improve their health and to keep fit, some of them join a sports club.

The most popular individual sports are walking, swimming, cycling, aerobics, jogging…

In any case everybody has their own favorite personal sport.

Some people go in for sport to lose or gain weight, to look athletic.

Sport helps to get rid of stress, rest and relax after working day.

Of course some people like to watch sports competitions on TV . They admire skiing championships , biathlon , swimming . Sports projects are very popular nowadays. “Stars on the ice skating-ring”, “Dances with stars” , “Big racing” are very popular among the people.

Summer sports, winter sports, all kinds of physical exercises are very useful. Be a sports fan. It’s better than doing nothing. Take part in the sports projects. It’s exciting, interesting, incredible and fashionable. Love sport and always keep you fit.

We want to tell you about sports in our school. Sport plays an important role in our school’s life.

We have PE twice a week and sporty-healthy lesson once a week. We enjoy our lessons very much.

The lessons are held in the gym, sports ground and in winter we skate on the skating-ring near our school. At the lessons we run, jump and play sport games.

Volleyball, ice hockey, skiing, table tennis, basketball, wrestling, athletics - these are the most popular sports in our school.

We are crazy about volleyball and basketball. Our girls’ volleyball team was the best in Atnya for last three years.

Now we ‘d like to tell about the best player of our school. He is a pupil of the 8th form – Sharipov Airat. He is a member of Atnya’ s volleyball team. This team was a Tatarstan’s champion in 2007. They take part in the republic’s championships. Airat is interested in volleyball very much, he goes to Atnya for trainings five days a week. We are proud of him!

Some boys are very good at wrestlings. . Each student in our school knows Dinar Shaihutdinov, Aisat Shaihutdinov, Bulat Sabitov, Zinnatullin Ilfar. Sometimes they win in district’s competitions.

There are real lovers of sports in our class..

… plays in our school volleyball team. He is sure this sport game develops character and quick thinking.

….. goes in for wrestling.

Table tennis is very popular in our class. During the breaks or after the lessons we enjoy playing tennis. Tennis also helps us to relax after our working day.

From time to time we take part in various competitions held in our district. We organize very interesting sport festivals every autumn and spring in our school.



We are sure you ‘ll agree that “Health is the best wealth”. And what can help you to be healthy? Of course, the school. Do morning exercising, go in for sport , take part in different competitions and be healthy! Love your school, love sport!

WeI’ll speak about sports in Tatarstan. Our people are great sport lovers. People attend sport clubs or go to sport centers if they are interested in staying healthy. Some sport activities are becoming more an more serious.

In Tatarstan there are four most famous teams that take part in different Russia’s and Europe championships.

First we’d like to talk about ice-hockey team Ak Bars.

This team formed in 1956.

It was called "Машстрой", СК имени Урицкого (в 1958 - 1990), "Итиль" (1990 - 1995), "Ак Барс" (since 1995).

Ak bars was a champion of Russia in 1998 and 2006.

In 2007 it became a champion of European champions cup-tie.

The main trainer is Билялетдинов Зинэтула Хайдарович.

Goalkeeper is Robert Esh.

From the forwards we know Alexey Morozov

Danis Zaripov

Sergei Zinovyev….

Raimon Zyru

Ilya Nicullin….. – the best defenders.

We don’t believe that they won’t win. They will be champions next year.


Now we’d like to move on to the Football team “Rubin”

The first team formed in 1930.

It was called «Крылья Советов» (before 1958)

1958-1964 - "Искра"


• 1965-1991 - "Рубин"
• 1992-1993 - "Рубин-ТАН"
• since 1994 - "Рубин"

“Rubin” has got the 4th place in Russia in 1997/1998 and 2005/2006.


The main trainer is Курбан Бердыев.

The best players are Arlando Kalisto, Vladimir Bairamov, Bukharev.

formed in 1991.

In 1997 Unics started playing in superlleague of championship of Russia.

In 2003 Unics won in Northeuropean basketball league.

2004 – champion of the league Fiba – Europe.

In 2004 Unics had a silver medal.

The main trainer is Archo Petrovich.

In 2003 in Kazan there was a great event connected with basketball, Bascet-hall was opened.
We ‘d now like to turn to Volleyball club “Dinamo”

“Dinamo - Tattransgaz» formed in 1995.

In Superleague 2003-2004 they had got a bronze medal.

In 2007 Dinamo was a champion of Russia.

This year this team became the best team of Europe.
