Урок английского языка по теме «Travelling to London», 6 класс
Цели урока:

Познавательный аспект – знакомство со столицей Великобритании, ее достопримечательностями.

Развивающий аспект – развитие способности к догадке, коммуникабельности, способность осуществлять репродуктивные и продуктивные речевые действия.

Воспитательный аспект – воспитание уважительного, толерантного отношения к чужой культуре.

Сопутствующие задачи:

активизация фонетических навыков,

формирование лексических навыков чтения и говорения,

развитие умения читать с целью полного понимания информации,

развитие навыков аудирования,

совершенствование навыка работы с заданиями теста,

cовершенствование навыков диалогической речи,

умение ставить и выполнять задачу  урока.



Оснащение урока:      транскрипционные значки, карта Великобритании, фотографии с достопримечательностями Лондона, таблица по теме «Лондон»,раздаточный материал: тест: “London  Quiz”, индивидуальные карточки.
Ход урока

1.Организационный момент.
Приветствие учителя, организационная беседа  с дежурными. Приглашение в «путешествие в один из самых известных городов Европы. Объяснение цели урока (знакомство с достопримечательностями Лондона).

Hello, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you again.

Today I invite you to visit one of the most famous cities of Europe. Today we’ll speak about sights of London.
2. Фонетическая зарядка.

- We shall start our lesson with the English sounds.Учитель показывает звук и просит учащихся назвать три слова с этим звуком.

[ ] – travel, capital, gallery

[ei] – play, place, stadium

[ju:] – museum, new, beautiful

[i] – big, pig, different

[a:] – park, car, partner

[i:] – see, meet, week


3. Речевая разминка.
- Let`s play the game “Agree or disagree”. Listen to my sentences, please. Repeat my statement if you agree with me and correct it if you disagree with me. Учитель предлагает учащимся поиграть в игру «Согласись или не согласись». Ученик повторяет утверждение учителя, если он согласен, и исправляет утверждение, если он не согласен с ним.

- Trafalgar Square is in London. ( I agree with you. Trafalgar Square is in London.)

- Moscow is the capital of the UK. (I disagree with you. London is the capital of the UK.)

- Moscow is different from London. (I agree with you. Moscow is different from London.)

- You don`t want to visit Great Britain. ( I disagree with you. I want to visit Great Britain.)

- London is the biggest city of the UK. (I agree with you. London is the biggest city of the UK.)

- There are no Art galleries in the capital of the UK. ( I disagree with you. There are some art galleries in the capital of the UK.)

- London is not one of the most interesting and famous cities in Europe. ( I disagree with you. London is one of the most interesting and famous cities in Europe.)


4. Работа с лексическими единицами.
  Look at the map of Great Britain.

Name the parts of the UK. (По карте Великобритании учащиеся вспоминают названия частей этой страны, их столицы ). Каждому ученику выдается лист с заданиями, которые он выполняет  по окончанию каждого этапа «путешествия».

Сначала ученики хором и индивидуально называют достопримечательности по фотографиям, которые показывает учитель (работа над фонетикой), затем в задании 1. слова соединяют в словосочетания.

Продолжаем «путешествие». Проверяется, насколько хорошо обучающиеся визуально знают достопримечательности Лондона (страноведческий аспект).

 По окончании игры выполняется задание 2.  на листе.
5.Физкультминутка.

5. Развитие навыков устной речи и навыков чтения по теме « Лондон».
Учитель предлагает поговорить о самой известной достопримечательности Лондона  - Биг Бен. (Текст обучающиеся читали дома. Один или два ученика читают  текст.)

6. Работа с текстом. Развитие навыков аудирования.
На доске фото «Tower Bridge» . Учитель читает текст об этом мосте.

This is Tower Bridge, built in 1894. It is next to the Tower of London. It is one of the famous bridges across the Thames. It opens and ships go up and down the river Thames.

Выполняется задание 4. на листе. (Составь предложение из рассыпавшихся слов).



Взаимоконтроль выполнения самостоятельной работы.

Контроль усвоения лексики по пройденной теме. Полученный результат заносится в лист с заданиями.


7. Совершенствование навыков составления диалога.
Now open your books at page 61 ex.4. You can see the model of the dialogue. As you know you would like to go to London. We shall make up the dialogues about the capital of Great Britain and its places of interest. Work in pairs and in three minutes you will act out your dialogues.

Ученики работают в парах в течении 3-4 минут и составляют диалоги, используя модель упражнения. Затем учитель предлагает учащимся разыграть диалоги и объясняет домашнее задание – выучить составленные диалоги. Некоторые учащиеся получают индивидуальные карточки с грамматическим заданиями.


8.Подведение итогов урока.
